RAE-publicações is a department of FGV-EAESP, which publishes RAE-Revista de Administração de Empresas, GV-executivo and GVcasos.

RAE-publicações agrees, as a practitioner and disseminator of the highest degree of ethical conduct, in a manner aligned with those standards established by national and international institutions, such as Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, Singapore Statement on Research Integrity, Boas Práticas da Publicação Científica da ANPAD; Código de Boas Práticas Científicas da FAPESP, Relatório da Comissão de Integridade de Pesquisa do CNPq.

Below, we explain the main criteria that guide our conduct.


Responsibilities of the editor and the editorial staff

  1. Ensure the highest standard of ethical conduct in all processes that involve submission, review by peers and publication of the journal.
  2. Ensure integrity, impartiality, confidentiality and transparency in the scientific certification process for papers submitted for publication.
  3. Guarantee quality, originality, rigor, coherence, diversity of thought in papers approved for publication.
  4. Ensure a high standard of ethical conduct, integrity, impartiality, transparency and agility in communication with the diverse players involved in the processes of submission, evaluation, preparation and publication of papers.
  5. Ensure the journal’s contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
  6. Guarantee the sustainability and development of the journal with the scientific, academic and business communities.
  7. Strive for the constant improvement of the journal.
  8. Represent reader interests, guaranteeing precise, relevant, quality content aligned with the highest standards of ethics.
  9. Strive to meet the needs of readers and authors.


Responsibilities of the Associate Editors

  1. Ensure the highest standard of ethical conduct in all processes that involve the review and scientific certification of the paper submitted for publication.
  2. Support the editor-in-chief in the preliminary evaluation of the paper of their area of knowledge, indicating the continuity or not of the paper in the double blind review.
  3. Ensure confidentiality, impartiality and integrity in paper evaluation.
  4. Guarantee the non-use of privileged information, to which they had access as members of the Associate Editors.
  5. Suggest honest referees, directly related to and active in the specific area of study of the paper submitted for publication.
  6. Effectively contribute to the improvement of the paper, stimulating the referees to a critical review of the work, improving and complementing the respective opinion(s).
  7. Analyze the new rules and comments sent by the authors and check whether they satisfactorily meet the recommendations requested by the referees. In case of approval, their name will be published as the Scientific Editor.



Responsibilities of the ad hoc referees

  1. Ensure confidentiality, impartiality and integrity in paper evaluation.
  2. Guarantee the non-use of privileged information, to which they had access as referees.
  3. Contribute towards the actual improvement of the paper, with critical and critical opinions.
  4. Meet the agreed upon evaluation deadline with the editor.
  5. Alert the editor about possible conflicts of interest that harm the integrity of the evaluation process.
  6. Alert the editor about very similar papers published or submitted for publication.


Responsibilities of the authors

  1. Be honest and having integrity.
  2. Guarantee integrity of the data found in the paper.
  3. Ensure paper authenticity and originality.
  4. Ensure the proper citations and the identification of the source when using third party material.
  5. Ensure your paper does not have any slanderous or defamatory declarations and does not infringe any intellectual property, commercial or third party industrial rights.
  6. Guarantee that your paper is not in any evaluation process at any other journal.
  7. Ensure the substantial contribution of your paper for innovations and development in the area.
  8. Declare any potential conflicts of interest generated by your paper.
  9. Immediately inform the editor if you identify any error in the paper and contribute towards the immediate correction, whether before publication and/or publication of errata, when the error is identified after publication of the paper.
  10. Ensure that the authors who sign the work submitted for publication have contributed to its actual creation and elaboration.
  11. Be sure of the correct choice of the journal for publishing your paper.
  12. Be sure of content fitness and format of your paper for the journal you chose.


Responsibilities of FGV (publishing institution)

  1. Be sure all players in the submission, review and publication process of the papers/journals practice the highest standards of ethics.
