FGV publication is ranked among the top 10 Brazilian journals by Journal Citation Reports

RAE is the only periodical in the area of administration among the top 10 Brazilian journals in an impact factor ranking, disclosed this month by the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). RAE, published by FGV’s São Paulo School of Business Administration (EAESP), achieved this position due to a rise in its impact factor, from 0.176 in 2014 to 0.311 in 2015, according to the ranking published this month.
Internationally recognized, JCR produces an annual impact factor ranking of indexed journals on Thomson Reuters’ Web of Science. This database contains periodicals in many different fields of knowledge, such as Biology, Agriculture, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, on which RAE is indexed.
As well as ranked among the top 10 Brazilian journals, an analysis of results also demonstrates that RAE’s immediacy factor is the highest, out of the 18 Brazilian periodicals in JCR’s Social Sciences database. This indicates a short time between the publication of articles and their citation in other publications. These results derive from RAE’s commitment to scientific rigor and its editorial quality throughout its 55-year history, as a leading journal in the field of administration in Brazil.
The journal publishes papers in Portuguese, English and Spanish, strengthening its international impact. As well as indexed on the Web of Science, RAE has been approved by global indexers, such as Elsevier’s Scopus, SciELO and DOAJ.
